Dr. Morgan loves taking care of her patients and treating everyone as if they are part of her own family. Her thoughtfulness, patience, and passion for the practice of dentistry guide Dr. Morgan in delivering high-quality care in a relaxing and professional environment.
Dr. Morgan L. Stroud grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. She received her BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After receiving her undergraduate degree, she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with honors from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Dr. Morgan practiced pharmacy in eastern North Carolina for several years before pursuing her passion for dentistry. She grew up surrounded by family in the dental field. Her mother was a dental hygienist and her father an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, so it was no surprise when Dr. Morgan decided to further her career in dentistry. She went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine and was a recipient of the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship. Upon graduation, Dr. Morgan was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She then completed a General Practice Residency at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Dr. Morgan continues to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education courses.
Dr. Morgan is excited to get involved with the local community and settle down in Richmond with her husband. In her free time, she loves to hike, cook, spend time with family, and enjoy the great outdoors.
